Nannette Goyer, DDS

Thank you for visiting our website and for either being a patient or considering becoming a patient! I have been a dentist for over twenty years, receiving my degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston in 1989. I moved to the beautiful Walla Walla Valley in 1998, fulfilling a long-time desire to live in the Pacific Northwest. I love our part of the state and our wonderful community.

If you are thinking of coming to see us, I look forward to meeting you and welcoming you into our dental family. To those of you who are current patients, thanks for visiting the website. I hope you find some good information, and I look forward to seeing you soon.

Dr. Goyer is a member of the American Dental Association, Washington State Dental Association, Walla Walla Valley Dental Association, American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine, and American Academy for Oral Systemic Health.

Doug Coe, DMD

Dr. Coe joined our practice in 2012, and we feel lucky to have him as part of our dental team. Dr. Coe graduated from the Oregon Health & Science University in 1976. Dr. Coe has practiced in the Walla Walla valley for over thirty years and enjoys catching up with long-time patients as well as getting to know new patients. As a cherry farmer on the side, along with many other hobbies, Dr. Coe is always on the move.

Dr. Coe has advanced training in implant placement, offers oral sedation, and performs oral surgery as his areas of specialty. Additionally, Dr. Coe offers general dentistry services. If you haven’t met Dr. Coe yet, we look forward to introducing him to you!

Our administrative staff does a phenomenal job of interpreting insurance plans. Their ability to retrieve benefits, interpret plans, and bill insurance is incredible. If you ever have any questions about your account or benefits or would like to schedule an appointment, they are happy to help.

Our dental assistants have graduated from a certified dental assisting program and are well versed in a tremendous amount of procedures, processes, and materials that they encounter each day in the clinic. In addition to assisting the doctor with patient procedures, assistants take X-rays, perform the sterilization of rooms and equipment, track lab cases, order supplies, and enter patient data.

All Registered Dental Hygienists in Washington State must receive two years of state-mandated hygiene training along with at least two years of undergraduate work, pass a state board examination, and take continuing education classes each year to maintain their license. By providing education and hands-on training, our hygienists help patients manage their oral health and develop good oral hygiene habits. They also communicate with Dr. Goyer and Dr. Coe about your treatment and oral health and help develop a plan to keep you smiling for a lifetime.

We are committed to closely following advancements in dental technology and incorporating those technologies that improve patient care. Some new technologies that we have incorporated include the following:

Digital Charts are environmentally friendly, promote continuity of care, and ensure efficient communication between specialists and our office.

Digital X-rays offer less radiation exposure and less environmental impact (no chemical processing or film). Digital sensors are ergonomically designed for patient comfort while maximizing data capture. Your dentist and hygienist utilize many types of x-rays capturing different data.

DIAGNOdent aids in the detection of caries (dental cavities), often detecting cavities before they are large enough to be discovered on an x-ray. By using light waves and computer technology, the DIAGNOdent can help the dentist discover decay in its early stages to help protect and preserve precious tooth structure.

Odyssey Diode Laser is the most advanced and effective method used for soft tissue modification.
